Self Portrait - 1st attempt with 24-70mm 2.8L

This is my first attempt at a portrait with my new lense. I know I've got a lot to learn, since I've never really done this type of photography. Definitely challenging to get a good shot while holding the camera out in front of me with this heavy lense. Took 9 shots and I thought this one came out the best. Shot in natural light with very minimal pp done in LR. I guess all that is left is for you to let me know what you think.

I like the graininess of it, but i also think it would benefit from some sharpening to bring out the character of your face's texture.
