hey man, great photo, any tips and tricks? i've been trying but its hard as hell to get a decent photo when doing self portraits, specially with the focus.
The key with doing self-portraits is trial/error. The focus is easy, but the zoom is what's tricky. If you use a UV filter, then the best way to nail the focus is to put your eye in the center of the reflection of the filter, then focus. You SHOULD see a red flicker, which signals that your eye is now in focus. Then just recompose your face, then fire. Repeat as necessary for the desired result.
