Selling Video/Photos

I recently installed a DVR in my vehicle. If and when I get video of a serious accident, can I legally offer it for sale to the drivers? If the police find out about the video, would I have to turn it over to them?

It's yours but may be seen as evidence in which you will have to give it over to officers.

It's evidence, so you are obligated to turn it over to the investigating team. I find it disgusting you would consider selling it to the drivers instead of turn it over to them to help out.
