Hello :)

I'd like to show you some of my photos from recent trip to China. B&W was never my thing, but I thought these shots might look cool in monochrome. Since I'm relatively new to B&W processing, any comments and advices would be very helpful!

You can see more photos from China (in color) on my blog: Blur My Reality

Thanks!

Here is my rating, well done!

#4- 5
#3- 5
#2- 4
#1- 2

I'm going to have to go 4, 3, 1, 2 but the work is good. What method did you use for your conversion to B&W?

As for the term "architecture" in your title, you've mostly missed it. #4 has the most about architecture, and it hardly qualifies due to the extreme distance and lack of discernible detail.

#1 is a streetscape.
#2 is a skyline shot.
#3 is another streetscape.
#4 nicely done skyline.

Thanks! I used LR 4.3 with Treatment: Black & White and heavy editing on single colors. I'm not a fan of desaturating - I know there are a lot of people that tend to prefer that method, but it doesn't work for me.
