here is a question from a beginner

what is she laying on? is it a painted floor or some sort of material?

i like it but my beginner brain cant think of what it could be.

The floor is vinyl flooring installed upside down and running all the way up the wall to create a white cove, I then painted it with primer (very important), then the floor portion is painted with several coats of pure white polyurethane enamel, and the wall portion is painted with a flat pure white latex house paint.
