Sharing some pictures from last cruise trip C&C

Just to share and possible learn from some critics, pictures of my last cruise trip...

1.- Nikon D3000 miniature effect

2.- Catamaran

3.- The small boat reflection

All look good but #5 I would've used a higher aperature than F/4.5 so everything is in focus. Bigger pictures would've also been better for C&C. They're kinda small for analyzing.

Yeah, I took that picture without looking the setting of my camera first. I realize my mistake too late.

Number one, Im not really diggin at all. The blurring you applied is rather obvious and the focal point you made isnt all to interesting. I say itd look a lot better left 100% in focus.

The only technical problem I see with 2 is that its not straight, not a big problem to fix.

Nothing wrong with number three, its a pretty cool shot

number 4, IMO, the subject is too small and the water is way to dark. Not trying to sound rude, but I just dont like this one all that much. But thats my opinion....

Number 5 seems like nothing more than a snapshot of the deck and the water. The horizon is to centered, but you really cant crop anything as youll lose something important...

Number 6, no doubt my favorite. Amazing shot. I think itd look cool with a little vignette, but thats up to you. This shot is super how it is.
