Hello,
I would need an advice from anybody who already made one or more purchases from DigitalRev.com

I've read a lot of info about digitalrev, that they have a HK based business and all the goods are comming via HK and that from time to time buyers have customs issues with goods.

As far as my situation goes, making a long story short, I'm planning to buy a digital video camera from an ebay seller, who originally bought it from digital rev, and I have two questions:

1. what about the warranty? if something happnes do you need to send the items back to Hong Kong ?
2. can anyone of you please check the attached documents to this post and tell me if they are genuine or suspicios (i've got these from the seller, but I personally never ordered from digital rev so I don't know how an invoice of online account looks from them)

I've posted links because I don't have the previlige to attache to posts

thanks and any help is apreciated

As a proud sponsor of thePhotoForum, I would like to notify you that DigitalRev's 12 month warranty is not transferable to third party. Please refer to Terms of Product Warranty - DigitalRev.com.

If you are concerned about the issues mentioned, please kindly purchase directly from our website. Thank you!

Hi, thanks for the reply.

You see, I simply can't understand why people aren't willing to help you in any way if there is no comercial benefit involved...
I mean, why is that so HARD to say a "yes, genuine" or "no, not genuine" just by kindness, and without any material involvment.

I simply don't get the point on why is DigitalRev protecting it's true or fake buyers ? (and I blurred out all the personal information anyway)

And thnaks for the advice, but I guess I'm never gonna buy from a seller interested exclusevly of the matherial side (and I do now a few in europe who aren't)

my advice.. is that if you have questions that no one will answer, then I would not buy it! Especially with no warranty!

Unfortunately, forum members do not react on the supporting vendors section actively as you may find threads are not usually responded at other supporting vendors too.

I would be glad to assist you in answering your concerns. Since the items would be sold through a 3rd party, we cannot comment the genuineness of the items nor take responsibility and guarantee of the reselling items. If you have any concerns about DigitalRev's reputation, you may feel free to refer to the feedback websites, such as ResellerRatings and eKomi.

In EU, we are also active at the UK Photography forum too. Thank you for your interest!
