Until I can afford better, I'm using a canon 75-300 III 4-5.6. It's a long shot from Canon's good glass, but every so often I get some good shots out of it.

Yes the owl is lovely, great shot, it doesnt look like the lens is a handycap . Always nice to have good glass, but in this case not necessary.

Thanks. This one was taken about 8:00 p.m. I was driving around looking for a good spot to get some sunset photos and Noticed it on the fence post.

Love those owl shots. Lense definitly isnt a problem here. I think they turned out great
