Should I sell or keep my 17-35mm f2.8?

My trusty 17-35mm f2.8 has finally squealed its last breath of life. The autofocus has given up and works only when it wants to. I looked on KEH to sell it. It quoted me 519$ for a broken AF, does that include the cost to fix it? or will it deduct from that amount? Should I just keep it as a manual focus lens?

Comparethe replacement cost (less the $519) to the cost of repair.

Why not ask KEH about the deduction?

The only way to find out is to send it in for an estimate.

Mine was fixed, along with other issues, for $400.
