What do you mean its been turned 180?

ETA- the first one the camera is horizontal, the second is vertical. I heard a click a couple times, looks like he just doesn't have it on.

It's been turned 180° between the two.

Maybe the photographer was actually shooting real photos between takes?

In the first photo, if you were to turn the flash 'down', it will be turned towards the subject.

In the second, if will face away from the subject.

The head, while still straight up, has been turned 180°.

Dude, he's just bouncing the flash (off the clouds in the first one, off the guy holding the video camera in the second one  ).

Didn't watch the video, but is it on (is it firing)?

The 'subject' is flapping his yap so much the poor slob never fires off a single shot the entire video.
