Photos NOT OK to edit
i have a pentax p30t and the shutter is sticking. but it seems to only stick when there is film in it, the piece of the shutter closest to the film doesnt go down all the way, if i gently pull it down, the shutter finishes its cycle, but only to do it again the next time i try to take a photo, yet, it dont do it if i "take a picture" with out film in the camera, it acts just as it should.

i would also like to note that it dont do it every time, but not far from it, every second or third time maybe? at first i though maybe it was the batteries, but i just replaced them and its still doing it. please help! thanks in advance!

Hmm, it is interesting that you do not see the stuck shutter blade when there is no film.
I cannot see why having film in the camera changes how the mechanism works.

I think you may need servicing of the shutter mechanism to solve this ... though the repair charge will probably cost more than replacing the camera.

I agree it is very odd. I will looking into prices on having it served. It might be more then replace th camera. But I I replace it. The replacememn might do th same thing after a couple months. Lol. I hope that solves the issue. I wasn't sure do to the uniqueness. Of the issue.
