Finally the time was right (i.e. the light was good enough) to go and crawl into my Siberian Iris with the reversed lens at 55mm held to my camera, like I said I would do as soon as the moment would come. Here you are:

To use the reversed lens at a shorter focal length I would need to have even more light ... today I wanted to be on the safe side with the 55mm. ;)
 
These are all great, but 2 sticks out for me a lot.. Love the back leaf in focus...

Photo 5 shows you it is about time I went out with the reversed lens held to the camera at last (too much rain and too dark weather for most of the time otherwise, and also these were taken in the five minutes of sunshine before the next huge and massive rain shower!) ... they are beginning to get past their prime, and that shows best in Photo 5. Sniff-sniff :cry::(
 
I really need to try the reverse macro technique... I like 5 a lot, but dont care for the dark shadow on top..
