Sigma 120-400 or Sigma 150-500

I am trying to decide between these 2 lens. Any suggestions? Lens will be used on my new canon 6D

I do mostly portraits, some landscapes, love to see the animals....but usually miss them unless they are in for portraits.

If that's what you shoot, I'd pass on both. Neither one makes sense for that type of shooting.

I am wanting to start photographing wildlife. I thought a lens like this would come in handy for that.....am I wrong?

Either would be great for wildlife. I would do the 150-500. I don't think the extra 30mm wide the 120-400 offers is going to be that critical, but the extra 100mm zoom of the bigger lens would certainly be a plus.

Yep. That's why I asked. Nobody who shoots wildlife doesn't want more reach. Also consider the Tamron 150 - 600.
