Sigma 28-300mm Lens

I am looking at this lens as an all around goto lens. Anyone have this lens or have any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

wow, 6.3 on the long end = slow slow slow......

i'd also expect quite a bit of distortion on both ends,

but if neither of those are a big deal, i'd read some reviews on its sharpness, and if tats ok, then go for it

You get what you pay for, and lenses with huge zoom range like that usually suffer in quality.

Thanks guys. I thought about it for a while and think I am going to save up the extra money and get a better lens. I think I am going to try and shoot for this one from Sigma.
