Sigma P&S.....anyone use one???

I am looking to get my wife a nice p&s. She has a food blog and wants a p&s that she can carry around in her purse, but still be able to take photos with a nice bokeh and dof.

I was thinking about just getting her the Canon G12, and then I started looking at the 4/3 cameras a bit....and then I stumbled on the Sigma DP2S and it's monster sensor. (on sale now for $599)

She doesn't need all the bells and whistles like most of the consumer p&s and doesn't really care about video, zoom, or changing lenses.

Major needs -
Compact Size
Nice Bokeh
Decent in low light
Price ($500-$650)

Currently interested in - Sigma DP2S, Pany LX5, Canon G12, Oly Pen

Anyone have a good suggestion? Thanks!
