Significant Events

Have any of you ever photographed any significant events? I'm not talking Super Bowls, or the H.S. Basketball finals in your state. I'm talking about something of historical or social significance. For example, were any of you out with your cameras on 9/11 in NYC? Civil Rights struggles? L.A. Riots? Maybe a dramatic local event?

They don't have to be something as compelling as Tienanmen Square Massacre, but something that is more than just shooting for kicks.

Just curious.

Not a thing, and honestly, I hope I don't run into that kind of a situation ever. When something of that significance comes around, it is OFTEN about something where many people are hurt or killed.
