simple paradise

I took this pic of a simple paradise that my husband and I found at the local lake. But it feels like it's missing something. Is it just me or what do you feel it's missing?

Well first off the photo is really small so its hard for me to really see I would be able to answer your question better if you could make it a little bigger

Okay I'm going to do max here. I don't get a sense of paradise, I get a senss that its a pretty snapshot from vacation. Most likely that is because of the blue cooler inthe foreground. The under exposure that is supposed to be dramatic isn't for some reason.

You might try kicking up the gamma and cloning out the cooler. In not sure it will help.

Well the photo is a bit small to critique... but looking I kind of worry about the right top corner down to sun.. looks like highlights might be blown...

I think the composition is good here, and its the type of shot that would be popular in outdoor or hiking mags.... therefore cooler just needs a tent next to it....
