Dispossessions.
There was an era, this house was situated in a flourish, lively neigborhood in Brussels.
Some day...big construction promotors and other capitalistic companies had some nice ideas, this must have been 20-30 years ago. A lot of people from the working class got expropriated, houses got sold, houses left empty.
Poverty, prostitution, squatters came. Capitalism to blame.

This is one of the last in a row of houses that will get demolished shortly.
In between, this neighborhood got renovated and has some new office buildings...

But the main question here is: are these owls or gremlins behind the windows?

This girl seems sad, crying, holding a squat house in her arms.
Keeping some stories locked in her heart.
Besides all this misery... it is nice graffiti artwork on one of the walls.
I recognize a style between Persepolis and Sin City .
