There was a contest online and the theme was "Man's Best Friend." I was going to enter but decided not because the three pictures I have that I was going to submit weren't quite up to my own expectations in order to win. I was getting used to my focus on my camera and it's still off, but I have decided to post them here for everyone to see and to tell me the major things I need to work on.

I think you already know the main problem...focus. Without the pup being in focus, it is almost pointless.

Another thing, I am not sure if it is the angle or what but your poor dog looks dead. I think it is the lighting and the angle but that is just my opinion. Keep working on it, you have a lovely model there.

Thanks. I'm still trying to work on my focus. It is getting better the more I play with it.

As far as the angel, I was laying down beside him and he was in the sun trying to sleep, lol, and he's not a very lively dog sometimes, so he does seem dead.
