Thank you. The old D850 has pretty fast focus with this 70-300 zoom. I shoot it in crop mode with a big square block of focus sensors active in the middle of the frame. I also have a battery grip with the big battery attached that gives me 9 fps. Once I get the focus to lock I just hold down the shutter button and let the camera do the work. The wasp shot was the best one out of about a dozen shots..
