slide film developing in North Carolina

Hello,

Does anyone know where I can get E6 slide film developed in North Carolina? Or purchase for that matter! There used to be a 2 hour developer in Hickory, no longer.

Crazy thing, I need to shoot student art work on slides and there is no where to purchase or develop slide film in this Western NC mountain town.

Is this the video killed the radio star version of digital killed the slide film art?

JW Photo Labs in Raleigh is the best in the state, hands down. I'd argue it's one of the best in the southeast, as well, if not the country. They're cheap, fast, and do exceptionally good work.

As far as western NC goes, I couldn't say off hand. Maybe try talking to some people at Penland. I'm sure that there's probably a lab in Asheville that could do it. There's probably a shop there that sells it. Otherwise, give Peace Camera in Raleigh a call and see if they'll ship. They have an amazing selection.

I seem to recall some relatively sized camera shop in Charlotte, so you might try googling them.
