Lately I've been getting this message when hitting the "New Posts" button......what gives????

"This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between searches. Please try again in 30 seconds."

And I wait.....

Don't double whammy the button......check your double click speed in the mouse preferences.

Because you are only allowed to make one search every 30 seconds. Clicking the NEW POST link is actually performing a search of the forum database for the threads with the newests posts. Forum searchs are the most database intensive thing you can do on a forum.

It is necessary to make this time restriction. If the admin of this fourm allows unrestricted searches a disgruntaled person could bring the forum to a halt by creating a script that would perform a new search every 1/2 sec or so.
