I just bought a promaster 2500 SLR. Any thoughts on that? I have a DSLR canon 5d mark 2 with EF lenses. I heard Canon SLR are compatible with all EF lenses? Is that true??

Hmm, never heard of that camera. Is is a K mount ?

All Canon EOS film SLR's use the EF mount (AF lenses).

All Canon manual focus cameras used the FD mount.

Yes, It's a k-mount. How do feel about the canon a-e? With 50 mm 1.8 lens
