Didn't post for some weeks on TPF, but I do read many posts. It's still no weather to go outside so I my subject for today is a lily... a bad smelling lily. But it's a beautiful flower so I took the opportunity to take same pictures.

Please tell me what could be done better!

I really like 3, 4 and 5.
The first is a bit noisy and despite the green (dark green, mind) leaf to be the main subject, this photo does not speak to me that much.
And in 2 I mind that so many petals are cropped off.

But then come the soft pink (on my side all unsmelling ;)) close-ups. I like the lighting and just about everything there.

And the background in 5, all neutral. Just the flower as your only subject. Well lit. The cropped off bottom leaf bugs me a bit here, too, but other than that... nice indoors photography when outside everything is boring and grey...

2 and 4 seem to do it for me well done :) I hope to get a light tent soon

THNX for the comments. This was what I could do with my living room. I took an old white sheet of A1 size paper and hang it on a lamp on the ceiling. I was lucky there was some sunlight (no other lights on in the house) coming through the big window this morning. Further I used my greycard. So no lighttent, just being creative with what I have...
