Snow Dog

This is a photo I took of my dog which I thought was halfway decent, and wanted to get some other opions on it. Would it look better if the shadows were cropped out? And is the overexposed snow a real problem?

I like the expression on the dogs face....
other than that there is nothing to really comment about....

but i cant take a decent photograph for my life so take it as you willl

yes, I would crop out the shadows. You have a very lovely dog, what a poser!
