Snow in San Diego!

A couple of months ago we saw more snow in the mountains of East San Diego County than we have in 20 years! A horrific fire ripped through these mountains back in 2003- that's what the burnt remains are from. I thought it was interesting the way the snowy mountains were juxtaposed against the desert.

Though I wouldn't have known it is the desert in the background, had you not told us.
