Hi Bob,
this is a good location for photographing.
But i have a little remarks on your choice. Theres a lot of lines and grey stuff, that will hide the moving of the water, my eye doesnt find a point to rest. In my oppinion you can do much more from the picture, if you dont use landscape, cut the interesting part out of the image and do a little gamma work on it. Also a little rotation to the left will make the water flood in the right direction. ;) If you allow, i will show, what i mean:

Now, the water is completly in the lower third of the image and the parts of the trees are no longer confusing, they are now more interessting than disturbing.
