These were all shot with the 7dm2 and the 500mm f/4 Me and my dad changed lenses and bodys for the second time we went out to take pictures

Nice. They look a little... unfinished though. Did you do any post on these?

Here's what I would do (without having access to raws).

I tweaked the colors and brightness a little bit. Increased sharpness, corrected for distortion, and cropped and slightly rotated to have the log's lines vertical.

But that may be a creative choice. YMMV.

Thank you and yes i did do post they look brighter to me then most people see my eyes dont dilate as much as most peoples do so if i brighten them to much it hurts my eyes
