The thing about the backgrounds ... well, I just moved so (went on tiptoe or squatted or so) I got a good, neutral background, and the red against red is because the background to this tiny tree is the wall of our house (red klinker stones lining it).

Today, the much appreciated plum tree buds have opened. The scent is wonderful around these trees (there are two), and it just looks lovely!
