I think I have this focused right..

I think the coloring is nice.. but a little too vibrant.

What do you think?? This is right out of the camera- No editing yet.

Nice shot. I personally would desaturate it a bit, but htat's just my preference. I would also try using a wider aperature to blur the background.

Focus seems to be on his hair, making the eyes very softly focused. Plus the bright sun isn't very helpful either.

He likes it when I take pictures of him. I was having problems with my camera yesterday.. It kept saying busy..

I just did a quicky google on the busy.. Umm, it says the flash was overheated?

I think I was using the flash for a short while outside, before I realized it was up.:blushing:

Good overall shot. My recommendation would be to make sure the focal point is right on the center of his face and going with a wider aperture to blur the background more to draw out your son as the subject even more.

You missed the focus on his eyes, the focus falls farther back in his hair. I see a resemblance to your avatar.

Exif viewer?

I use exif viewer 1.55 addon for firefox (my preferred web browser).

EDIT: This image you posted doesn't shot any exif info though... maybe you pasted the picture into a new file?

Yea, too much contrast. Crop out that blue thing on the right. Highlight on his right shoulder is pretty intense. I would've taken two steps back.

Are you shooting RAW? Looks a little overexposed and the color looks a little over saturated to me too. I agree with the commend about the focus being on the hair and not the eyes as well.

The BUSY comes up when the flash is recharging or overheating.
