This is a social/political picture for my portfolio for my black and white class. My theme is music. This is my roommate. We had to set this photo up since we don't actually have homeless people out on the corners here. Canon Rebel 2000. Tamron 75-300 mm lens. Kodak T-Max 100. I developed and printed this. I burned in the areas on her legs, on the money, and on the bags.

Well done, I think you have the social statement and the musical theme.

I wonder if it would have looked better if you were down low and took the photo looking at or up at the subject. Then again, looking down on her could be part of the social statement.

The bright spot on the lower left is a bit odd...maybe you could give this a bit of edge burn.
