Soligor 800MM lens

Hello, i've been trying to find out more information about this lens i acquired recently. Its a Soligor 800MM lens. Pictures of it can be seen: Photo Album - Imgur Can anyone tell me more about this lens? Anyone have any idea its worth? There is one up on ebay right now for 1,500 but i'm unsure if its worth that much. I basically would love to sell this lens but i dont want to over charge it for it. I know there is someone out there who would appreciate it for what it is. Thanks for your time. Kevin

Ebay sale #1. And that's with a Nikon F & case.

The lens currently listed on ebay has been listed several times, and not sold. That simply means it's not worth $1500.
The retail list price of the lens was $650 in 1966.
