This was shot at a local pond. This pond is quite small and set in the grounds of a former 18th century stately home, and is man made. The edge of the pond is surrounded by unusual groups of trees plants and shrubs, planted by gardeners of that period, this unusual group of trees and shrubs, create colourful reflections and complex patterns of light and shade on the surface of the pond.
Its the type of place where you can only shoot good natural light photos in summer, only under certain light conditions, and at a certain time of the day.
I have been there several times, quite a lot of the time when I get there, the light conditions have changed and its not worth shooting any photos.
This pic is one of my attempts, I will go back next summer and try to get some better ones.
