There was significant Photoshop work here. First I channel mixed it in an overdone B&W (The blue was nearly black, and the red was very bright)
then I overlayed the color at 50% opacity. It gave it that selective color look without actually being selective color. Have I gone off the deep end, or did it work?

Interesting, but the angle seriously makes me want to puke. And I mean that in the nicest possible way. ;) I think the shot would've been MUCH better with a flat horizon line.
 
I thought about it and tried, but in the time I had, it just wasn't possible to do a good job of it. Thanks :) I'll have another go at it when I have a bit more time
 
Oh, cmon Joe. I just cloned it out in 15 seconds. You're 5x the PSer that I am, so that splits me into a some kind of fraction I can't even measure! ;)

I like the level horizon best, however I like the subject in the first better. The pose is something other than bowing to the chair. Eliminating the channel marker was also a great help.
