I went out for the day with some friends from another forum. We met at the yorkshire Wildlife Park. A great day, nice people, and these beasties:

Love that last one, getting a really full look at that long sandpaper tongue!
Looks like you had a great time, plus things were fairly awake, I recall some parks in winter everything is fast asleep all day - though least in winter you get to work with softer light.

Often the lions and tigers are asleep. But occasionally they get up and do a bit, and then go back to sleep.
We went past the lions a couple of times to make sure we got them.

The light was great, especially later on (as in the roaring pictures).

To me the first one requires a bit white balance and/or exposure correction of the other side of the lion.
