Some mushroom work...gotta love a subject that doesn't run/fly and hide.

We were taking some pictures in a very old (Revolutionary War era) cemetery in upstate New York when these mushrooms distracted me. Surrounded by so much history I was still unable to give up the opportunity to shoot the shrooms. C&C welcome.

Watch out for too much flash.
I think the flash + ambient light should be balanced.
Watch out for distracting surrounding/foreground/background objects ... such as blades of grass.

You found a terrific subject. Mine tend to be more subdued. Like the patterns and spherical shapes.

I do wich I had taken more time to move the grass.

Yea, I see where the hotspots and the uneven lighting on both the subject and the background can be awkward.

Thanks,
Pat

Thanks jrice12, I just wish looking back that I had put more thought into the technical aspects of the shot.

Someday soon I hope to post a shot where I can say "I put more thought into the technical apsects of the shot"
