Tim,

1 and 3 are my favorites... Watch cutting off things like the edges of petals. Also try not to create what I call the domino effect... you don't want your picture to resemble the 1 side of the domino so try to keep thinks out of the very center of your photo. Great first try you have some talent.

OK, you got me.....close-ups of flowers will do it every time!
My preference is the third one.
