yep. I think they're good compositions, but nothing really pops in them.

You say you're ok to edit, so i'm thinking something along the lines of this:

Slight vignette, slight desaturation, levels adjustments.

You don't even need to mention the coloured cars, they're the first thing that popped out at me in pic 1. I don't know if bumping up the saturation on that first one would ruin that effect or not.

Oh and the edit you did on the cycle realy makes the pic IMO.
