How'd you manage the 4th? It looks like you've over-layed another image.

i just got really close to this parking arm thing. shooting with the 50mm at 1.8 (i think). its pretty weird, not really what i was intending but i like it. its not layering, i dont really post process my images besides iPhoto

What kind of camera are you using?

#1 & #2 - #2 is a better composition. They image appears to be exposed properly, not sure about the white balance. Interesting point of view.

#3 - Not sure what I'm looking at in this one...it seems very noisy. Really don't care for it.

#4 - Interesting shot...you aimed down the hollow part of the parking arm...very different.

#5 - What is the subject of this shot? The pot? The wood chips? Or the tree?

#6 - What is the point of this shot?

None of them really do anything for me, Try shooting more interesting shots.

1&2 are composed the best out of all of them.

i am shooting with a d40, 50mm 1.8 lens and a 18-55.
#3- really tried to show the different shapes of the blgs and how they intersect, but the sky turned out really really grainy.
#5- the subject is the woodchips (in focus) but i like the tree solid colors
#6- just the simplicity of the chair. a version of straight photography which is shows well composed normal everyday things in new ways
