i just got this digital point and shoot so i figure i go and shoot some pics at sunrise....came up with these...im jonesing for a dslr but just dont have the funds. i do own a nikon slr (i believe its a n65) but i greatly prefer the instant feedback the digital gives you. in time i geuss.

anyways, i found this shell and some stones and liked the way it shined in the sunlight so i played with it a little

im not sure how these are going to come out b/c they are compressed.

i used photoshop for some minor editing (cropping, some level adjustment, f-stop adjustments)

just looking for some feedback.

...probably should have used the slr buti like to see what it looks like w/o the wait

You got some cool shots...but the one thing that I don't like is they're all of a shell.

yea...i was just trying to take some different perspectives on a singular object..i have other shots that i took, but for the most part i was just trying to make something interesting..idk...a challenge i gave myself..i actually didnt mean to post that sunrise shot.

i like the second shot the best. i get a very desolate feeling because there's just nothing behind it other than sand, more sand and ocean. nicely done!

the sunset is pretty. :)

The second shot and the sunset are my favorites. Just a suggestion...number your photos and it's much easier for people to give you feedback. Nice job!
