I went out earlier today and took a couple more pictures sorry they arnt really original I just went outside and worked on getting them to look a little better

the background is too busy in the 1st one, if you can shoot so there are no hourse in the background that might be better. and you missed focus i think in the 2 flower shots. either that or it is the lack of contrast on either, not sure what your lighting condition was but try moving around a bit instead of a straigh on shot to give it some depth.
