Some Water Birds in our area

There is a thing running in Australia and they ask people if they can spend some time in jotting down the birds you see in the time you are there. They had bird identifier books so if you had no idea you could see what it was. I had to use it on the Australasian Darter.
But it was a good way to get 2 hours out the way and there was a lot of talk.
I am going to join a mob that were there as they know a lot more than me.
So the 3 shots are , (1) is a Australian Wood Duck close up

(2) Is a family of them

(3) The Australasian Darter I said on the bird page it should be called the Snake neck Darter and I got told this is the nick name for them.
