Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hi everyone. I am shooting an album cover for a local Blues singer/guitarist in the spring and there was a concert in his honor the other night so I took pictures in case he needs any for the inside of the cd cover.
Photobucket shuts my internet down every time I try to resize to message board size so i only have one to show:

(never mind that one isnt resized either) ugh

here are the rest if you are having a boring day and feel like having a look ;)

You should be resizing yourself, before you attempt to upload.

Those look really good Kathi! It looks like the flash might have been a little bright on some of them, but they are nice and clear and crisp. My fave is the one of the guy wearing the sunglasses and you can see the crowd reflected in them. Neat stuff - I'm sure the musicians will be pleased.

Yeah I will have to comment on the sharpness, heck your whole PP skills. For me it was hard to tell if you really used a flash. I mean it must be some really soft/diffused light because the lighting looks great.

Ajay - you're right on a few the flash was brighter than I like but I think the guys will like them so I didnt toss them all. ;) Thanks for the comments and the guy with the sunglasses, I didnt even know this ahead of time but apparently those sunglasses are his signature so he will probably really dig the attention that picture gives them. :)

Richard - i believe I tried a few times to not use a flash at all just to see. Shooting this concert wasn't something I was required ot do for the c.d. cover shoot but I wanted first of all to make sure this guy would be happy with what I can do for him and second I wanted to see if I could get around the difficult lighting. I have weddings coming up and the other weddings I did were either outdoors or in very well lit rooms where an external flash wasnt necessary. THis was perfect practice for using my flash. :)

KristinaS - thanks so much. :)

NJMAN - I really really need to get a bouncecard! I did use my hand - gee, how did you know. ;) But if I had a bouncecard I would have had more control over steadying my camera because both hands would be free to hold it so that's important, I will get one or rig something before my next session. :) Besides that sucker hets hot after a few flashes and it burned my hand like 2 times - ouchy!

I liked most of them and to me I saw no lighting issues.

Kathi, I think these look really good. Ouch on the hand burning thing...get a diffuser asap! I enjoyed the guy in the blue shirt singing and the one of the guy with the vest on looking down at his guitar with the mike stand in the foreground. I think these would be good inside the CD jacket. Good work!

crystal lynn - thanks! :)

acaldwell - lol yes I need to get on top of that if I'm going to bouce my flash. I wish I could practice with turning it around backwards but mine is a cheapy sunpak and it'll only go straight up, not backwards. :( Thanks for taking time to comment. And the guy with the vest, he's my clients dad and they're very close so he's liking those ones. :)
