I used the option to focus on the C2 button. I do not find this very handy even after 3-4 mos. of use. I can find nowhere in the instructions how to go back to using the shutter release button.
It should be noted I am poor at reading instructions.

I only know Nikon but, didn't you have to disable the focus with the shutter button in order to go with back button focus. Look up the directions for "back button focus" on youtube and just reverse the process.

You will have to get into the menu but honestly, I'm not sure which one. Toolbox possibly. There is a menu item to use to set various button functions. I'm not familiar with this model, however. A slow stroll through the menu would be the way to find it if you can't find it in the manual.
