Sort of a storyboard

What do you think of this idea? I shot this family and put this together instead of the usual storyboard type thing I do.

Something happened to the center shot. It lacks detail. It's almost like it was shot out of focus, and than was applied an unsharp mask.

I think the picture of the girl with black hair should go on the bottom left, the blond girl should go on the top right, the 2 girls together should go on the top left, and the husband and wife on the bottom right.

hmm . . . or like there was some overuse of the shadows highlight tool.

i agree about the center shot, but i really like the idea and think that the shots you used and arrangment of those shots is nice

I agree with the others, the background shot looks over cooked but the overall idea is nice. I think the top left image of the girl on the chair could be cropped a little closer (loose the dead space) and then you could move or enlarge it a bit.

I converted the center image different then all the rest. When printed it would be very noisy and look beaten up and old.

But if you think it doesn't work then, I'll make the changes since I respect your opinions and I'll post the revamped version a bit later.

It might look better on a print, sometimes it's hard to tell with a web image.

From a design perspective it doesn't work

The images are crowding the main shot and look like you have just placed them where you think a gap is.

They also don't appear to run on any sort or grip or structure

I think they would look better running along the bottom, its conventional but may work.

Something like this works better - obviously I've cloned but your images should be able to be moved around easier.

The only thing I'd do is move the girl with the dark hair to the left (or leave it out)

Looks better but you can't take out that shot of the child as the other girls will feature twice etc

Perhaps if you cropped both the individual shots to land scape it would look better?
