I don't live very close, one day I'll have to drive down and try to get a closer look, but this is how it looked today launching.

I was soooo pissed that I had to work late today! I live VERY close to the launch site, and we were going to go down to the beach and get some shots of it.

Wow. To be seeing this AT ALL!
I mean, all the pictures/footage I have ever seen of it was from TV, other than the shuttle standing there during countdown for a mission back in 1995 - that was when I was in Florida. But, like I'm saying: it was standing there, and we got a view through the tour bus windows!

Yeah didnt get chance to go to this launch... did shoot the June launch though.
