Specific camera search: time lapse, manual focus, close up requirements

Hello Everyone,

I just joined the forum and I am hoping someone can help me with a product search.

I am a novice at photography, but an experiment I am working on requires some photography.

Background of my situation:
I work with 2 small insects - a psyllid (1.5mm length) and a parasitoid wasp (1mm length). The wasp attacks the psyllid and I need photographic proof of the interactions between the 2 insects (contact and various things). The wasp stings the psyllid and the stinger (officially called an ovipositor) is about .4mm. The behavior is obvious so I do not need a close up on the stinger, just the general movements.

My intention is to use a time lapse camera, but I cannot find a product which can suffice for recording these interactions. I need the camera to be able to take a picture every 30seconds and able to focus on an area of about 10-15mm diameter.

Anyone have any suggestions?
