I was doing a photo session for a couple of local comedians when the son of one of them wandered downstairs for a drink. VOILA! Instant father & son portrait. I'm kind of proud of how well it came out, and the kid was great. No fuss, no complaints, and his expression never changed. I wish every child could be that well behaved!

*Edit - Lit using a single Alien Bees B800 monolight with the standard 32" silver/white reversible umbrella. Taken at ISO100, 1/160sec, f/5.6 using a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX lens at 70mm.

Really is a nice portrait but I'd have moved them further from the backdrop. It would have looked softer that way. Being so sharp it's a bit of a distraction. The crease between them really catches the eye.

really nice shot, but have to agree, the background is just a little distracting

I kind of agree about hte background but that's a good thing cause that's all that's questionable and that can be fixed. Good job!
