Spot on the Mountain

I have been forcing myself to learn to see things, photographically.
Today, this particular scene caught my eye.
Although I have changed it to Black & White, the original scene was almost this stark in real life.

The grey roadway was lined with totally white snow. The mountain was in deep shadow, except for the one little spot.

Just curious what comments you have about it.

I like the barren feeling of it, and the leading line of the road.

I almost want to suggest that you crop the sky/ top of the mountain off completely, for a totally surreal image, but that might be too much.

loved this picture, simple but so deep. however there is something missing or wrong in my opinion, but i cant seem to understand what lol, but still great job

Everything appears to be leaning to the right a degree or so. Interesting composition and that's a strange light occurance.

The horizon looks slightly wonky and I'd've cloned out the bright spot on the mountain that you seem to like. The grass also seems overexposed. Other than that - an interesting scene.
