Spots from Sun? Please help.

I'm a complete beginner to the photography world. This morning I took several photos outside my house of a rising sunset. The images all have bright spots located in random places throughout the image. (Usually towards the bottom) I would describe them as a hot/sun spot which is fairly large in size. Can anyone tell me what these might be. (THere is one on every picture) and how I can get rid of them?
